《富庶珠三角的隱憂：洪水威脅》

In the Hong Kong’s Climate Change Strategy and Action Agenda consultation document, the HKSAR Government highlighted the fact that there will be potential asset loss due to flooding and suggested various adaptation options, such as developing flood risk strategies and to update flood risk maps. However, rapid economic development and urbanisation in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta are also adding pressure to the environment, exposing the region to potentially higher flood risks. What actions need to be taken to address the issue?
香港特區政府在其《香港應對氣候變化策略及行動綱領》公眾諮詢文件提到，氣候變化可能會導致洪水，招致資產損失；並就這些影響提出適應策略，如：制訂洪水風險策略及更新洪水風險地圖。然而，珠三角的急速經濟發展及城市化為區內的環境增添壓力，令區內面對更高的洪水風險。那麼，香港和珠三角應採取哪些行動？

Civic Exchange and a team of scholars at School of Geography, University of Leeds (UK) has worked on a research project that looks at climate change, flood risk and flood governance in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta, with Britain as a case study. At the press briefing, Christine Loh CEO of Civic Exchange, and Faith Chan of University of Leeds will be present to present findings, recommendations and take questions.
《富庶珠三角的隱憂：洪水威脅》由思匯政策研究所及英國利茲大學地理學系學者合撰。本報告重點探討香港及珠三角地區的氣候變化、洪水風險及洪水治理問題，並以英國為案例。思匯政策研究所行政總監陸恭蕙及英國利茲大學地理學系陳加信將出席記者會，介紹研究結果、政策建議及回答提問。
